How to Keep Your Blinds Clean

After they’ve soaked for a few minutes, wipe each slat with a sponge, rinse them, and hang them from your shower rod to dry. Keep in mind, this tip only works with plastic, metal, and painted blinds. You don’t want to immerse wood blinds, fabric blinds or woven wood binds in water as this will damage them.

• Never immerse wood blinds, woven wood blinds (bamboo), or fabric blinds in water. This can cause them to lose their shape or warp
• Be wary of harsh chemicals, they can degrade some plastic blinds and produce chemicals or cause them to discolor
